An association of amateur radio operators living in the Southwest valley: Avondale, Goodyear, and Litchfield Park.

When all else fails in the world of electronic communication, look to amateur radio.

The world of amateur Radio is one of great diversity. People communicate, experiment, learn new skills, provide emergency communication and explore a wide array of technologies. There are over 700,000 licensed amateur radio    operators in the USA. The number grows each year as more people realize that they can have a communication system/process that does not require relying on a commercial business to connect them to another person.

Emergency communication is one of the cornerstones of this organization. The development of operating teams to provide volunteer,  backup emergency communications support to the cities of Goodyear, Avondale, Litchfield Park and surrounding areas in the event of disaster or local emergency is a goal.

Our long term plan is to utilize the experience and expertise of our group members in assisting people of all age groups to participate in the hobby and encourage current Hams into new modes of operation.

All Hams regardless of location are welcome to join our organization and bring their experience and share their ideas with all radio amateurs.
